Since 1999 Subject: Music (initially labelled netmusic.at until 2001) is providing managed hosting solutions for various music-related projects. In addition, music software tools have been created and provided for free. In 2004, two free products have been published for Microsoft Windows-based computers. ScaleTool is a versatile Scale Calculator for Guitar and Piano. EasyChord is a chord dictionary for standard-tuned six-stringed guitars. While both products are not developed anymore, support is still available. The best features of both products will be integrated into the online version of ScaleTool.
